Celebrity rock bands celebrated the Australia Day weekend with the event at Westport Park on January 27. There was a strong line-up throughout the afternoon and evening with Scott Darlow, The Getaway Plan, British India, The Superjesus, Eskimo Joe and You Am I.
The headline act was Hoodoo Gurus.
New South Wales Police Inspector Matt French said police from multiple departments had attended including licensing and one canine unit.
“The crowd was very well behaved, no arrests, no issues,” he said.
PSM Publicity publicist Melinda Murray said the event had gone well and next year's edition was already being discussed.
“We’re really happy with the crowd… the bands were happy,” she said.
“We’re looking to build and already looking forward to next year”
Ms Murray said the event owed thanks to support from the Port Macquarie Council, authorities and attendees.
During the same day, fourteen people were charged with drug-related offences at the Rolling Loud music festival in Sydney Olympic Park.
While a further nine were issued with drug criminal infringement notices, four people were issued cannabis cautions, six juvenile cautions were also issued, and one warning was given to a juvenile.
