The weather was brilliant, with a cooling breeze helping keep patrons from sizzling under a hot sun.
The headline act, Hoodoo Gurus were expected on stage at around 8.25.
Other bands in the line-up include British India, 2.45pm; The Superjesus 3.55pm, Eskimo Joe, 5.25pm, and You Am i 6.55pm.
There was about 80 keen music lovers lining up for the gates to open at noon.
