Fresh from creating a massive coastal mural along the outside wall of Asty's Takeaway at Shelly Beach, Mr Moroney has set his sights on guiding the town's youth away from graffiti.
Mr Moroney said the two-sided Shelly Beach wall took about five days to complete in December last year.
"It’s something that represents the local area, beaches and the rain forest so I googled the local area and combined a couple of images, then added the waterfall to fill the space," he said.
“I try to battle the illegal hotspots where people try to vandalise (with tags). I’ll try to replace them with colour and a more positive vibe. It’s a good talking point."
Mr Moroney will be keeping an eye on this year's inaugural Street Artz Fest 2019 from 11am to 10pm on Saturday, April 13 - in which he is supervising a street art workshop.
The Live2U hosted event is expected to be held at the Conservatorium Mid North Coast as part of Youth Week celebrations with workshops, festival activities and markets as well as a dance party.
"The Street Artz Fest involves live musicians, live street art, buskers, market stalls, there's a whole variety which coincides with youth week," he said.
"(My aim is) just to get the community involved and the youth more excited about stuff. I've noticed in Port Macquarie there is a lot more tags and illegal graffiti going on.
"And I want to concentrate on those sort of kids and give them something to look forward to, a place to express their art."
