The Kendall group received $4000 while the Wauchope crew were granted $1092 for the purchase of new equipment.
Minister for Regional Health and Federal Member for Lyne Dr David Gillespie said the Men's Shed program was supporting hundreds of individuals and projects across the region and nationally.
"Men's Sheds are playing an important role in preventing social isolation," Dr Gillespie said.
"Many were forced to close their doors this year due to the pandemic, however that didn't stop the shed community from staying connected. Coordinators made sure their members felt part of a strong, positive community during such a difficult time."
Dr Gillespie said the Federal government awards grants to Men's Sheds in three categories - health and wellbeing events, shed improvements, and tools and equipment.
Sheds are able to apply for funding and grants of up to a total of $10,000, with priority given to sheds in disadvantaged areas.
Applications for Round 23 of the National Shed Development Program will open in mid-January 2022.
