The case is from the Kempsey LGA and is a close household contact of a case reported yesterday.
It is the seventh case in Kempsey this week.

The North Coast Public Health Unit is currently investigating this case and contact tracing is underway, including any potential exposure venues of public concern.
There have been 44 cases reported in the MNCLHD since the beginning of the current NSW outbreak.

MNCLHD chief executive Stewart Dowrick encourages people to regularly check the website as the list of venues of concern and relevant health advice is updated as new cases emerge and investigations continue.
"Please remain vigilant and come forward for testing for even the mildest symptoms of COVID-19. Please continue to practise COVID-safe measures at all times," he said.
There are 500 COVID-19 testing locations across NSW, many of which are open seven days a week.
