They might have to take a different path to get there, but Thresher said alternatives were on the table to ensure the season didn't suffer the same fate as those in Newcastle and Greater Sydney.
Competitions in those regions were called off months ago as a result of the escalating COVID-19 situation.
"We're pretty lucky we've been able to complete 95 percent of our season and we're hopeful we can finish it," he said.
The finals series only runs for two weeks with the grand final currently scheduled for September 18.
"Our finals are short as it is, but I think we may lose the last few rounds of the season - or depending on restrictions, shorten those games - and head into a two-week finals series," he said.
"There's also the option of extending into term four after the school holidays. Everything's on the table."
Deputy premier John Barilaro is believed to have hinted at an easing of restrictions this weekend for regional areas of New South Wales who did not have any new cases or sewage detections.
Should that happen, the local competition would continue as scheduled with games originally set down for Sunday.
"As it turns out we were supposed to have the under-13 state trials, so our games this weekend are already down for Sunday," Thresher said.
"If the lockdown lifts then we're right to rock and roll on the Sunday with B-grade."
Thresher also suggested they could shorten the time between finals games if required.
"There's no reason we can't compress into a Saturday, Wednesday, Saturday scenario. There's a lot of options on the table," he said.
