Volunteers rallied to the renovation rescue to help Amy Ward and her son Midas in July after their home was inundated during the March floods.
Around 20 volunteers removed flood damaged items and covered walls in gyprock before painting the house. They also donated lounges and a bed.

Ms Ward, who has been living in the house for nearly six years, said the volunteers had brought hope back to a family in need.
"I thank them from the bottom of my heart because we wouldn't have been able to do what they did," she said.
"They've covered the walls with gyprock, the electrician fixed all the sockets because they had been underwater and then the volunteers painted the entire house.
"They were here for a week and although it was very noisy with twenty people working away in here, they have done a great job. It was truly a big job."
Ms Ward said seeing the restored house now is in stark contrast to its condition after the March floods.
"When the flood came it was raining so hard that the stormwater came up from behind our houses. We are quite high off the ground so we thought we'd be okay," she said.
"As the water rose our next door neighour Glenn came over and said we needed to get out. We packed the dogs and cockatoo into the car and drove out in waist deep water.
"I was freaking out when we were leaving because we didn't have time to get clothing or anything. We just grabbed the animals and went.
"The next day we came back and it was pretty bad. Everything was covered in a layer of mud, the floors and of our stuff."
The family is still restoring areas of the house such as the kitchen, bathroom, around the house and fencing.
