Port City have received a huge boost ahead of Saturday's Group 3 rugby league clash with Wauchope after halfback Jake McNamara had a striking charge dismissed by the judiciary last night (May 26).

McNamara was sent off early in the second half of the Breakers' 18-16 defeat to Wingham last Sunday.
Group 3 chairman Wayne Bridge said the Breakers had produced video evidence to support McNamara's case.
Breakers coach Dan Kemp said the smart play would have been to take the early guilty plea, receive the 25 percent discount and still have his halfback free to tackle the Blues.
But it was more about the principle of the matter.
"We thought it was obvious he didn't do what he was alleged to have done," he said.
"He was sent off for no reason and it's disappointing, but that's history and it doesn't matter now."
Port City were rudderless once McNamara was given his marching orders as hooker Jake Kelly was also off the field at the time after he lost a contact lens.
"It's a nice morale-boost for the boys because he's (McNamara) our leader and it hurt a lot without him there on the weekend," Kemp said.
"We essentially played with one half and that half got sent off so we played with zero direction."
The Blues have been one of the surprise packets of the season after registering three wins and a draw from their opening four games.
"We know they won't go away which is typical of Wauchope," Kemp said.
"The whole start to the season for everyone is surprising and I haven't seen them play yet, but I don't think anybody would say they're where they want to be.
"We're so far from the finished product, but that's where everyone is at this time of the year," Kemp said.
Centre Nick Smith returns from a three-week stint on the sidelines due to concussion protocols which will see Jarrod Robbins shift to the wing while Taj O'Brien returns to reserve grade.
First grade kicks off at 3pm at Regional Stadium.
