The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called at 1am November 28 for an urgent medical retrieval at Port Macquarie Hospital.
The child was stabilised by the John Hunter retrieval team and flown to Sydney Children's Hospital at Randwick suffering multiple injuries.
He was in a stable condition on arrival.
