Officers from the Mid North Coast Police District have launched an investigation after two businesses were targeted in break-ins at the Port Macquarie industrial area.

A spokesperson from NSW Police said between 4.30pm on Tuesday, July 21 and 7.30am on Wednesday, July 22 a fast food business on Lake Road was broken into and a small amount of cash was stolen.
It is not known how many people were involved in the break-in.
Another break-in happened at a business on Uralla Road, where an unknown number of people forced entry to the premises and took a small amount of cash.
This incident happened between 9.30pm on Tuesday, July 21 and 9.30am on Wednesday, July 22.
Mid North Coast Police were notified and are investigating whether the two incidents might be linked.
