There was strong support for the clean-up which covered from the skate park to the breakwall, Town Beach and Mrs York's Garden.
Coastal Warriors Mid North Coast president Meegan Stephens described the ongoing support as amazing.
About 50 people turned up in the first hour of Saturday's [February 1] event.
"Every month we grow and get more awareness out there," Mrs Stephens said.
Mrs Stephens said knowledge was power.
"People are really aware these days about how extensive the problem is," she said.
"If they can help in any small way, I think it makes them feel good, and it's pretty easy to come down and help out."
The volunteer-based organisation, founded in 2017, aims to prevent plastics and other harmful objects entering the oceans and waterways.
The group is committed to educating people as well.
