A Port Macquarie restaurant owner has been left devastated after his business was targeted in a break-in on Tuesday, January 7.

Police are examining CCTV footage of the incident which happened in the early hours of the morning at Hidden Gem, Port Macquarie.
Five young people allegedly broke into the property and stole items including money, food and alcohol.
Police believe four males and one female were involved in the break-in.
Police said the suspects were wearing dark coloured clothing at the time of the incident.
The restaurant owner said the premises was forced to close for lunch on the day of the break-in.
Police are continuing to make enquiries as part of the ongoing investigation.
