Amahli Walsh had a dream to help people going through cancer treatment and after cutting off more than two thirds of her hair, she will now do just that.

The 14 year-old from Beechwood said she first decided she wanted to cut her Rapunzel length hair after seeing family members and friends going through cancer.
"Cancer really sucks and I wanted to see if there was a way I could help," Amahli said.
"My hair was super long and I found a charity where I could donate some of the hair to be made into a wig.
"And that was perfect. I don't need all of my hair and it cutting it means I can help someone else then I wanted to do it."
However, before Amahli was ready to cut her hair she also wanted to raise some money for the Love Your Sister charity which was started by siblings Samuel and Connie Johnson after Connie was diagnosed with breast cancer.
"The Love Your Sister charity is such a good cause because no one should have to die from cancer," she said.
"I had a goal of wanting to raise $500 before I had the cut and I am super excited to have raised more than my goal.
"I managed to raise $700 and I just want to say thanks to everyone who donated."
And now with a new-found sense of confidence Amahli is sporting some pink tips at the end of her shorter 'do.
"My Dad cuts hair so when I had it cut we decided to have some fun and dye the ends purple.
"Now we have just changed to pink ends and I love it."
