A spokesperson from the NSW Rural Fire Service Mid North Coast said five local units attended the fire on Sunday, August 4.
The NSW RFS was alerted to the fire on Saturday, August 3 at about 6.45pm. According to the Fires Near Me website the blaze's size at that stage was 25 hectares.
Fire crews will continue to control the blaze throughout Sunday afternoon. At 1pm the fire was being controlled and was 17 hectares in size.
Meanwhile The NSW RFS continues to monitor the Lindfield Park Road fire in Port Macquarie.
The 330 hectare Lindfield Park Road fire started on Thursday, July 18.
The NSW RFS is warning residents some residual smoke continues to rise from the blaze and firefighters are monitoring the situation.
A thermal imaging aircraft is be utilised by the service over the weekend, to locate hotspots within the fireground.
