Kids (and some adults) dressed in their best pirate gear.
Rotary club member Trish Affleck-Mooney said it was a fun day for the family.
"We set up the pirate pits, sell tickets so that kids can dig for a token on the beach and every child gets a token and then every child gets a prize," Ms Affleck-Mooney said.
The event is now in its 10th year.
"All the funds go to the our international project in Nepal and local charities.
"Every year it gets bigger and bigger," Ms Affleck-Mooney said.
