Volunteers and participants gathered at Flynns Beach on Saturday, April 6 for the final surf of the season.
Cheers and claps were heard as each participant enjoyed the waves.
The branch's president, John Brownsberger, said the whole idea was about having a good time.
"Most of the participants come back year after year after year, because they get to have fun in the water," he said.
"We are providing excitement for people."
Participants and volunteers also enjoyed lunch and awards were handed out after the surfing.
The branch stages six surfing events at Flynns Beach each season.
Disabled Surfers Association Hastings Region Branch secretary/treasurer Jen Knox thanked the sponsors, volunteers, participants and committee members.
