The fire broke out around 4.30pm on Monday, January 14.
RFS district officer Stuart Robb said the small scrub fire was contained and extinguished.
“It was a small scrub fire and crews are currently mopping up the area,” he said.
“At this time of the year it is important for everyone to remain vigilant and report any fires where crews are not in attendance.
“RFS would urge everyone to report any suspicious activity to Crimestoppers and to report any fire to triple-0.”
