On Tuesday October 2 at 10.30am, there will be a book signing and meet the author with Rob Tickle, author of ‘John Oxley, a new perspective’.
Rob is a consulting archaeologist, historian and paleoanthropologist.
Also at Wauchope Library on Tuesday October 2, from 10.30am-11.30am, there will be a Zentangling workshop for 8 years plus. Help to decorate the mural to commemorate John Oxley’s journey. Bookings 6581 8162
On Wednesday October 3, there will be a family fun day at Bain Park from 10am to 1pm.
Everybody welcome to share a very special gathering, with plenty of food, activities for all ages and special entertainment. Join in all the fun at Bain Park.
On Thursday October 11, Glasshouse Sprouts will be at Wauchope Library from 11am to 12 noon.
For 4 to 9-year-olds, with carers to stay. Bookings are via the Glasshouse on 6581 8888, and tickets are $5 per child. Be inspired by the Archibald exhibition and create your own portrait.
Glasshouse Sprouts provides art activities brought to you by the Glasshouse Regional Gallery Staff helping children grow their creativity, learn new skills and make new friends.
On Friday October 12, the Little Bang Discovery Club will be at Wauchope Library from 10.30am to 11.30am.
It’s a hands-on interactive science workshop for 4 to 7-year-olds and their parents or carers. Bookings essential 6581 8162.
