The fourth event was held on August 25, 26 at Panthers Port Macquarie.
Rock and roll club spokesperson Ross Cutrupi said the highlight of the weekend was Saturday night's concert and dance.
"Saturday night was packed. We had 480 packing out the club auditorium. There were plenty of dancers there but even more people just came along to enjoy the music and the music," he said.
"It was just a great night.
"Fortunately the dance floor was never really packed out, so it was good to see everyone enjoying themselves.
"It's all about the rock and roll," he said.
With almost 350 people flocking to Retrofest on Friday and with close to 370 people through the day on Saturday, Mr Cutrupi said Sunday's crowd topped around 280 to 300.
The club president said the 50s and 60s music attracts people of all ages. He says the catchy beat, easy dance moves and just having fun are the key to the success of the weekend.
The Port Macquarie event attracted people from Perth, Queensland and Victoria and across NSW.
"Bands including Rock Attack, Mr James, Swing Cats and a new band we found up in Queensland Old 45s kep the dance floor full over the weekend.
"The dance floor is the best gauge of how your weekend is going," Mr Cutrupi said. "Our dance floor was full from Friday night to Sunday afternoon."
Along with the music, there were a number of stalls inside the auditorium, a Happy Days-style cafe - it was doing a roaring trade - and dance workshops.
Winners in the Pinup competition were named on Saturday night.
As well, the club made a $2000 donation to Make A Difference for ongoing community work in the Port Macquarie-Hastings.
Mr Cutrupi said there were many sponsors getting involved in the event.
