The retro and rock’n’roll nostalgia festival, Port Macquarie Rockin’ RetroFest, got under way on August 24 when almost 370 people rocked the night away.
The action at Port Macquarie Panthers continued on August 25 with live music, dancing, market stalls, Swing Catz demonstration and a vintage-inspired fashion show and pin-up parade.
The August 25 gala ball, featuring Roc-a-Tac and DJ Dale, is expected to attract 450 people.
The pin-up competition winners will be crowned during the night.
Organisers have pledged some money from ticket sales to Make a Difference with the cheque presentation to take place during the gala ball.
Port Macquarie Panthers Rock & Roll Dance Club organise the festival.
The club’s treasurer, Anne Elliott, said Port Macquarie Rockin' RetroFest had something for everybody from people who wanted to dance non-stop to the pin-up and Kustom Kulture community.
The festival continues on August 26.
