It will be held at Port Macquarie Panthers in the auditorium on August 24, 25 and 26 and features live bands, a gala ball, pin-up girls, market stalls and a fashion parade.
A blast from the past, the festival evolved from the 'Rock Around the Clock' event previously held at Port Panthers to now appeal to those who love retro, rock and roll and rockabilly.
The event draws visitors who have an interest in retro style, music, dance or fashion.
Committee member Darren Reams said the festival grows in popularity each year and hopes to evolve moving forward.
"It's been going for a few years now. We averaged 180 people last year, but we have already sold over 170 tickets so it's a big improvement," he said.
"People mainly come for the dancing. The biggest turn out, I expect, will be on Saturday with the market stalls, but there will certainly be lots of dancing on each day."
Tina Reams has been a retro junkie for years, always the first on the dance floor.
"I just love it for the fun. All the hype about the fest is great, it really draws you in,” she said.”
“In the last five years since I've been involved there have been 70 to 80 new members come into the Port Rockin' dance group."
Friday night kicks off the festival with the Hot 'n' Happening Rockhouse dance party, where you can rock your socks off to the Old 45's band.
Doors opening from 6.30pm until close at 11.30pm, with snow ball game and lucky door prize.
Saturday's event includes a retro inspired fashion runway show at 10.10am featuring items available from stall holders and a pin-up parade from 11.30am. Miss Retrofest will be named on Saturday night.
Saturday evening sees the auditorium transformed to host a gala ball, with the crowning of the 2018 Miss Retrofest and Miss Dolly (under 18s) featuring Roc-a-Tac band and DJ Dale. Pre-booked tickets are required.
End with a bang on Sunday, rocking your socks off with music all day, starting from 9.45am, featuring Midnight Drifters and DJ Dale.
