Two whales delight onlookers at Tacking Point headland, Port Macquarie

A crowd of about 50 people gathered to watch the gentle giants.

The whales took their time as they played for about 20 minutes, much to the delight of onlookers.

The whale migration occurs as the whales head north to breed before making their return journey south to Antarctica with calves in tow.

And just when onlookers thought the show couldn’t get much better, whale watchers on the Port Jet were treated to the most amazing sight.
