Jetstar passengers will have to get to the airport earlier as part of a series of changes by the airline. Check-in, bag drop and boarding gate closure times will be changed from May 23. Jetstar chief operating officer Matt Franzi said the changes were in line with other low-cost airlines. "We know our performance hasn't been up to scratch and we are working hard to boost punctuality and reliability," he said. "To improve our performance, we're also recruiting more airport staff, cabin crew and engineering team members."
