On Tesla's Australian website, dozens of brand new and former demonstrator Tesla Model 3 sedans are listed in its existing inventory, though only across certain states.
While there are no base model rear-wheel drive Tesla Model 3s available, the listings comprise 2022 and 2023 model year all-wheel drive Model 3 Long Range and Model 3 Performance variants.
The least expensive Model 3 Long Range is available in Tasmania, priced from $63,170 before on-road costs – an $8630 discount, excluding the state's $2000 rebate – with less than 50km on its odometer.
Tesla's cheapest pre-facelift Model 3 Performance is listed for $74,800 before on-road costs in Queensland, $10,000 less than its pre-discount price – also without the state's $6000 rebate applied – though it has travelled 9655km.
While these are the lowest-priced Model 3s available on the website, there are more examples which range in price depending on colour, mileage and other options such as wheels.
It's worth noting the ex-demonstrator Model 3s available miss out on the Highland update's increased driving range, revised suspension setup, rear climate control screen and USB-C ports, and they are equipped with physical stalks rather than buttons for the indicators.
The new 2024 Tesla Model 3 has only arrived in base rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive Long Range guise, priced from $61,900 and $71,900 before on-road costs, respectively.
