Teenagers such as Jack Stace, Jet Mason and Les Smith have impressed over the last six weeks ahead of the tournament preliminary finals at Wayne Richards Park on Sunday.
Stace (Rays), Mason (Hornets) and Smith (Scorpions) all missed final selection for the Macquarie Coast Stingers' Regional Bash campaign in Ballina a fortnight ago.
But it is unlikely they will be out of the team for coming years.
"It's a good experience for us and it's good to play with the older boys. It's helped me improve my game," Stace said.
The 16-year-old steered the Rays into the preliminary finals with a classy 21 not out as they chased down the Wasps' imposing 4-202 on November 17.
Mason admitted he hadn't performed well in the tournament, but had learned how to improve from his two appearances with the Hornets.
"It's been a good tournament which has showcased everyone's skills especially for Stingers selection. It shows you where you need to be so you can get up to that next level," he said.
Smith spun North Coast under-16s to an unlikely victory over Newcastle in their Bradman Cup 20-over fixture on December 5.
The teenager took 5-6 off four overs which saw Newcastle slump to 6-52 after they were 1-41 in pursuit of North Coast's 77 all out.
His T20 gala campaign has only seen him take two wickets in two games, but he hopes to change all that in the Scorpions clash with the Huntsmans.
"I reckon the competition has been alright and I've probably exceeded my expectations but we're looking to go all the way," he said.
"I got a bit lucky for North Coast."
