The owner of Port Macquarie's Brew Box Cafe is opening her door to everyone on Christmas Day, to dish up free small coffees and breakfast rolls.
Ms Leddon said she believes a lot of people experienced loneliness in 2020, whereas stress is being felt by many in 2021.
"I've been feeling stressed through the running of multiple businesses," she said.
Ms Leddon said lockdowns had been tough on small businesses.
"The message for everyone would be to please be kind," she said.
Ms Leddon employs nine staff members and struggled to support them due to the most recent lockdown.
"Realistically a small business like this, you're feeding nine different families," she said.
Ms Leddon said residents who live in the community and visit her cafe have become like her family.
The cafe has decided to host the event every year on December 25 .
"If we can make one person smile or feel less lonely then that's a good day," she said.
The cafe served 460 people when staff and volunteers put on the event in 2020.
Ms Leddon said the event had a lovely vibe where everyone was able to connect with others over breakfast.
"We had an eclectic group of people who came for bacon and egg rolls and ended up staying for the whole day," she said.
"We had people donate so we could buy about 300 toys for children."
Ms Leddon and her two daughters started cooking at 5am on Christmas Day in 2020 to ensure enough bacon was cooked for everyone.
The Brew Box Cafe will open from 8.30am on December 25 to serve people free small coffees and bacon/egg rolls.
The cafe is located at 30A Morton Street, Port Macquarie.
