One piece of evidence was bagged this morning and will be sent of for forensic testing to determine if it is an item of interest.
Police continue to sift through soil at the search site one kilometre from the former home of William's late foster grandmother on Benaroon Drive at Kendall on the NSW Mid North Coast.

William Tyrrell, the little boy in the Spiderman suit, went missing on September 12, 2014 while he was playing outside his foster grandmother's house. He has not been seen since.
The seven-year investigation into his disappearance has returned to that location where Strike Force investigators are zeroing in on three key sites including the balcony and gardens at the home.
On Thursday, Australian Federal Police officers brought in ground penetrating radar to scan a concrete slab at the Kendall property. The slab was laid after William's disappearance.
It comes after police investigated theories he may have fallen from a balcony at the property.
Earlier this week police also seized a Mazda that previously belonged to the foster grandmother, who has since died.
Cadaver dogs have also been on the scene.
