The Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) continues to urge the community to get vaccinated and keep coming forward for testing should they experience any symptoms, with three new COVID-19 cases reported to 8pm yesterday (1 November).

The cases are from the Nambucca Valley, Kempsey and Port Macquarie-Hastings local government areas.

Two of Tuesday's cases are household contacts of confirmed cases and one is linked to a known case or cluster. One of the cases reported today attended a funeral at Nambucca Heads on Saturday 23 October.
The North Coast Public Health Unit is urging anyone who attended the large funeral at Lions Park, Nambucca Headland on Saturday 23 October at 11am to please to come forward for COVID-19 testing if they have not already done so.
There have been 289 cases reported in the MNCLHD since the beginning of the current NSW outbreak.
The North Coast Public Health Unit is currently investigating the latest cases and contact tracing is underway.
COVID-19 testing rates remain high across the Mid North Coast with 1,332 tests conducted yesterday - 427 at Kempsey, 402 at Port Macquarie and 398 at Coffs Harbour.
