The event at the club on October 30-31, saw up to 10 rowing machines in use for the opening and closing stages of the event.
The funds raised will go to charity Gotcha4Life for mental health awareness workshops.
Surfboat sweep Steve Monaghan said more than 70 people were involved.
"We had to keep one machine going all the time, but we had seven machines there and a lot of the time they were all filled up," Monaghan said.
"We had members of the wider community and Leslie Williams contributed about five kilometres over about an hour, which was good of her.
"We had old members - Chalkie Bob in his 80s - and everyone right down to the kids contributed."
Monaghan said the club has raised more than $2000 for the charity.
