The couple, formerly known as Lennox Lust, moved to Nashville, Tennessee in 2019 to expand their sound into the US music industry.
They have previously performed at Port Macquarie's Wildwood Festival, Purple Sanctuary, Byron Bay and at Hard Rock Cafe in Surfers Paradise. Hambly once enamoured local fans with performances at Finnian's Irish Tavern and local restaurants.
The couple have been together for seven years and were wed at an intimate ceremony on October 11 at the 1900 era Union Station hotel in downtown Nashville. They were supported by an officiant, their dog, two close friends and a video stream to family back home in Australia.
"We really wanted our wedding in October because it's the month we got engaged. The number eleven is also meaningful to us both since it's the date of both of our birthdays and our lucky number," Lauren said.
"You wouldn't think it because of what we do as a career, but when we don't have a guitar in our hands we're both a little shy with public speaking. So this ended up working in our favor to have an intimate ceremony.
"The hotel really is one of the most beautiful hotels that we have ever been to and we had a special connection to it because we've performed there.
"We are extremely thankful for technology, as we were able to private stream the ceremony to our family and friends back home and share a few toasts with them all."
The pair have successfully navigated the difficulties of being performing musicians during the COVID-19 pandemic over the last year and are are finishing up a tour of the US west coast.
They will now begin a honeymoon break by travelling across 16 states and are planning on celebrating with a reception or party likely to be held in Port Macquarie or Sydney next year.
To mark the occasion they have also released their latest single 'Lenny' on October 15, a song they originally performed for crowds at the Wildwood Festival in Port Macquarie.
"We loved being able to enjoy the moment with each other and take our time. We don't really feel being married will change our dynamic when it comes to performing and writing music," Lauren said.
"Music is such a personal and subjective thing, so it really helps to have someone by your side who shares the same vision as you.
"It's made moving halfway across the world so much easier on us both and takes the weight of missing family off just a little bit.
"Mick and I were able to move online for shows and it really showed us how loyal our fanbase can be. They essentially supported us through the pandemic, through all aspects and kept us sane.
"We are super lucky that things here in the US are getting back to what they were pre-pandemic. We're super excited to see what the rest of the year and 2022 has to offer."
