The Mid North Coast Local Health District (MNCLHD) continues to urge the community to get vaccinated against COVID-19, with 30 cases reported to 8pm yesterday (24 October).

Nineteen are from the Kempsey local government area (LGA), seven are from the Coffs Harbour LGA, three are from Port Macquarie-Hastings LGA and one from the Nambucca Valley LGA.
Twenty-six of the cases are linked to a known case or cluster and the source of the infection of four cases is under investigation.
In the last five days, there have been 103 new COVID cases reported in the Mid North Coast Health District (MNCLHD).
There have been 160 cases reported in the MNCLHD since the beginning of the current NSW outbreak.

More than 6,160 COVID-19 tests were conducted across the Mid North Coast in the past week, the highest number undertaken since the pandemic began in March 2020. This included a record 3,275 tests at Kempsey for the week.
Anyone with even the mildest of cold-like symptoms is urged to immediately come forward for testing and isolate until a negative result is received.
