That's the question Peak Coffee, Meatstock and Port Macquarie EaTs are asking locals as part of a new competition to boost business for local hospitality venues during lockdown.
"It's really about encouraging people to get out and support businesses while having some fun," founder of Port Macquarie EaTs Ellen Crepaz said.
"It's also about local businesses supporting each other. Peak Coffee is quite a large local business and they're encouraging people to support smaller businesses through this competition.
"The competition requires locals to try a bacon and egg roll from one of the participating businesses and post a photo with a review and tag Peak Coffee (@peakcoffeeau) on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #hastingsbaconeggrollcookoff," Mrs Crepaz said.
Participating cafes are:
- Asty's Shelly Beach
- Chop 'n Chill
- Peakface Colab Cafe
- Kew Corner Store
- Charlie's Takeaway and Catering
- Coffee on High
"We are encouraging reviewers to try at least three rolls from different venues to go in the draw to win," Mrs Crepaz said.
"There's also some great prizes for people who participate. First prize will be a Sunbeam Barista Max Coffee Machine and Peak Coffee Starter Pack valued at over $750 and there's also a $500 Peak Coffee voucher up for grabs."
The competition will run until the end of September, with the winner chosen in the first week of October.
"We absolutely love supporting local business. These guys are thinking outside the square and bringing some fun in lockdown and that's absolutely fantastic," Mrs Crepaz said.
"Seeing people get involved and support local businesses where they can during lockdown has been really positive."
