Lucy Hope, Zsofia Rohr and Madeline Hall found the back of the net for the Otters as they overcame a gallant Lake Cathie 3-2 in a five-goal thriller.
Taya Carney and Chloe McLellan scored for Lake Cathie after scores were locked at 1-all at half-time although the Otters dominated large portions of the opening half.
It was no more than the hosts deserved with the team creating a number of chances throughout the match while Lake Cathie only had two clear-cut chances which they converted.
The Otters have now won three-straight matches while Lake Cathie's own three-match undefeated run came to an end.
Lake Cathie now holds onto fourth spot on goal difference.
