The popular Dunbogan coffee shop originally built in the 1940s, was inundated with rising flood waters next to the banks of the Camden Haven River earlier this year.
Serious structural damage was done to the building, along with the loss of stock, equipment and fridges. The end of the marina jetty was also ripped away and two boats were sunk.
Business owner Damien Lay said the business is aiming to fully reopen in October after significant repairs.
"The floods were a total loss, there was a lot of structural damage, we lost all the equipment and stock. There was structural damage to the jetty, we lost two boats, two cars, a motorcycle and house," he said.
"It's a lot to manage at the same time, if it was just the business it wouldn't be so bad but it's an enormous challenge with everything at once.
"You just start with one problem, fix that and keep moving forward. You can't walk away because too many people who rely and depend on the boatshed like employees and the community. You know you don't have any options but to get it going again."
Mr Lay said the business had been able to access government grants to lessen the blow.
"We have been able to access government grants and struggled with the insurance. Tradies and materials have been hard to get because everyone has been hit hard," he said.
"The process is elongated, which ultimately puts more pressure on you financially.
"When we are done fundamentally the boatshed will be pretty much the same with a few nice new surprises."
