It was the first time in the club's 70-year year history that an individual player has won both championships.
Club captain Warren Miller said previously there had been men's and women's competitions, but now it was all unisex.
"There was a few men not very happy that she won the championship against all the men," he said.
"She's a brilliant player."
Mr Miller said more than 10,000 players played golf croquet around the state.
"It's the honour for Sue of being the first person to win two championships in the one year," he said.
"In the old days it wasn't men against women; now it's not."
Seventy-six people have previously been in the running to take out the honour.
"It's very complicated. In golf croquet you hit through hoops, but the other one is like snooker where you've got to hit balls onto balls.
"It's a totally different game."
