Second-rowers Tyler Roberts (dislocated thumb) along with Ryan Maloney (head knock), winger Jarrod Robbins (chest) and hooker Jake Kelly (hamstring) were all added to an extensive injury list.
But on the other side of the equation, young guns Corey Lewis, Taj O'Brien and Maloney all held their gloves up to the rigours of senior footy.
Coach Dan Kemp was disappointed to add another four players to the casualty ward although he said that was "simply footy".
"Everyone gets their turn at some stage in a season and it's our turn at the moment," he said.
"We ended up with no bench again for the last 15 minutes, but that's footy."
The 44-point drubbing ended a two-game winless run where the Breakers have shown promise, but drifted in and out of matches.
"You can overcomplicate things sometimes, but the attitude is great ... they know what to do," Kemp said.
"We're after little areas of constant improvement because there's a very, very long way to go. They're nowhere near their best and that's a good thing."

Kemp said it wasn't a type of performance that could be looked back on in coming weeks as anything other than a continuation of their recent form.
The results just haven't been there.
"Every week they've improved (so) I wouldn't say there's any corner turning," he said.
The competition pauses for the June long weekend and it couldn't have come at a better time with Port City hoping to welcome back some troops for the local derby clash with Port Macquarie on June 20.
Kemp knows that's when the competition really starts.
"The easy bit is over - the first five or six weeks - and now we've got to do 11 weeks straight," he said.
"It will be 15 weeks in a row if you want to win a comp. No one has ever had to do that before in group footy."

Bulls assistant coach Troy Betts lamented a disappointing second half after they had trailed 18-6 at the break.
"I don't know what the problem is,'' he said.
"I don't think it's a fitness thing. Maybe it's mental. But it's something we're going to have to rectify soon because the season is getting away from us.''
In other Group 3 matches, Wauchope are the only unbeaten team remaining in the competition after a comfortable 36-10 win over Forster-Tuncurry.
Port Macquarie Sharks suffered their first defeat of the season when Kurt Fowles landed a late penalty goal to hand the Tigers a thrilling 30-28 win.
Old Bar thumped Macleay Valley 52-24.
