With key men Evan Clarke and Harry James out for Kempsey Saints on Saturday, their Coastal Premier League match against Port United wasn't one they were necessarily expected to win.

On Saturday morning the Saints received some welcome news with the game rescheduled from Dixon Park to Eden Street, giving them the home ground advantage.
The good news didn't stop there as the full-time whistle blew at 2-1 in the Saints favour.
Regular standouts Nick Wright and Cedric Blodorn were the goal-scorers.
"We were stoked," co-coach Dan Baker told the Argus.
"It went well, we did everything we planned on doing, everyone played as good as we expected and did what needed to be done.
"There were no weak links and everything clicked."
Missing two of their important players made the win even more special.
"We wanted to win but with United on top of the table we didn't go into the game expecting to much so to come away with that we were stoked," Baker said.
Kempsey will now face Coffs Coast Tigers this weekend at Coffs.
Both sides played off in a mid-week FFA Cup fixture there last Tuesday with the Tigers coming away 5-0 winners.
The win over the competition ladders gives Saints confidence to seek redemption for the loss.
They'll also welcome back co-coach Clarke.
"Because we had a few changes from the FFA Cup game it'll give us a different approach into the next game especially now we know how to play against the Tigers," Baker added.
In reserve grade, Saints suffered a heavy 5-0 loss to United and sit fourth on the ladder with United above them.
