Police are appealing for information after a man was shot multiple times north of Coffs Harbour early on Wednesday morning.

About 1.20am on April 7, emergency services were called to the Pacific Highway at Moonee Beach, following reports a man had been shot.
On arrival, a 33-year-old man from Kemspey was found in a black utility with several gunshot wounds.
He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for injuries to his legs and torso before being taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus in a critical condition.
Officers from Coffs/Clarence Police District established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
As inquiries continue, detectives are urging anyone with information or dashcam footage to come forward.
