The COVID-19 pandemic put the U3A International Dancers' public performances on pause until now.
The group will demonstrate dances from various countries on Saturday, April 17 at Lake Innes Village Shopping Centre.
There will also be a stall raising awareness about Port Macquarie-Hastings U3A from 9am to 3pm, as well as the dance demonstrations at set times.
Other U3A members will demonstrate a chair yoga session.
The event is in the conjunction with NSW Seniors Festival.
U3A International Dancers leader Christine Battisson said the dance performance would boost morale.
She spoke about the power of dance.
"Dancing is good for your soul and it lifts your spirits," Mrs Battisson said.
The U3A International Dance Group performs dances drawn from around the world from countries as diverse as Greece, Russia, France, Israel and Bulgaria.
Most of the group members have been dancing all their lives.
Seniors can also look forward to a U3A Seniors Concert at the Tenison Woods Centre on May 29.
Entertainment will include the U3A International Dancers, Laurieton U3A Choir and music from Dave Smith and Carol Baker as well as pianist Rosanna Vanderley.
There will be a $5 entry fee.
Port Macquarie Hastings U3A is organising the concert.
Mrs Battisson said the concert would promote U3A, and at the same time, provide light entertainment to seniors.
Retirees from all walks of life come together to learn from each other through the University of the Third Age (U3A).
