The club has hosted a number of members-only competition days, a working-bee during February, and is now looking to recommence public open days this month after a two month hiatus.
Hastings Valley Archery Club secretary Merv Palmer said there has been renewed interest in the sport as young and senior archers come out of lockdown.
"We have already reached capacity of 40 people for an upcoming open day on Sunday, March 21. Our next scheduled open day is Sunday, May 23," Mr Palmer said.
"The next members-only club shoot is scheduled for Sunday, March 7, starting at 8.30am. It should be a good day with the competition thrown in for good measure.
"We now have scheduled open days on the calendar and our club shoot days are going to be great fun with a range of shoots being conducted either on the practice range or set out in the bush."
The club's working-bee on February 7 was to host a committee meeting, reorganise archery equipment, and to clear the archery practice range and forest trails ahead of approaching events.
The club has its next club shoot events scheduled for April 18, May 2, June 20 and July 4. The next working bees are scheduled for April 11, and May 16.
The club is hosting its next annual general meeting and member social gathering on Wednesday, July 14, at Hibbard Sports Club in Port Macquarie.
Members of the public who are interested in trying out archery are welcome to book and attend an open day event. All equipment, instructions and targets are provided on the day, and enclosed footwear is required.
Members from other archery clubs and associations are more than welcome to join on regular shoot days. Proof of membership of another club or association is required.
