The event kicked off on March 1 with the Wauchope Women's Bowling Club's ladies triples at the Wauchope Country Club.
On March 10, golfers will see the Wauchope Country Club fairways turn purple and pink with the lady golfers hosting their annual Lasiandra Golf Day. That evening an event close to the heart of the committee, the Jack Dwyer Memorial Triples, will be staged on the Wauchope Country Club bowling greens by the Men's Bowling Club at 5pm.
The festival's premier event is on March 11 with the CBD's Purple People shopping extravaganza.
Due to COVID restrictions, there will be no sidewalk market day stalls. Instead, local businesses will throw open the doors for a day of specials and bargains and decorate their shopfronts in the lasiandra theme.
On March 13, roll out of bed early for the Purple Wauchope Parkrun from 7am at Rocks Ferry Reserve.
