The talented 11-year-old is currently ranked 14th in New South Wales in his age group and now has his eyes on Primary Schools Sports Association (PSSA) state success.
Pociask qualified for the PSSA state titles following a strong showing when representing the Lismore Diocese which resulted in selection for the Polding team.
He has gone through a number of steps to get there while also overcoming a broken finger in the process.
"I took (the injury) as a positive and tried to work on my backhand slice and volley so I could get better at them and have a better chance at (diocesan)," he said.
"I went through there and got second place which was pretty good and then I went to Polding trials and played really well."
At the Polding trials, the youngster won five matches and lost just one.
"I didn't go great at the start because I lost my first match and then I tried to work on the things I did wrong in that match and tried to improve on them for the next match," he said.
Pociask qualified for the Polding team 12 months ago before COVID-19 forced the cancellation of the tournament.
"It's really tough and the players there are the really good ones from Sydney who train lots more than me," he said.
"I've got to play my game and work on what I've been training for and practising; I'm pretty excited to go there."
He admitted he has only a couple of training sessions a week - one of which requires a trip to Coffs Harbour.
"I don't do a lot of training," he said.
"I go up to Coffs Harbour to be trained by Tony Polack once a week and then I do Thursday night men's comp (in Port Macquarie) and also do a lesson on monday afternoon (with Matt Goodwin) and have a few hits with dad."
