Heavy rainfall is forecast to ease for parts of the Northern Rivers during the afternoon, and for the Mid North Coast overnight or early Wednesday morning (December 16).
Flooding for Mid North Coast and Northern Rivers is expected as a result of the rainfall forecast for Tuesday with renewed and further rises expected into Wednesday.
High water levels due to spring tides are also forecast over the next few days, which adds to the risk of flooding in lower tidal areas.
