Port Macquarie Surf Life Saving Club has entered a masters women's and masters men's team for the competition at Minnie Water Beach, Wooli on Saturday, November 7 and Sunday, November 8.
Round one will begin at 10am on the first day, while round two will commence from 8am on day two.
Port Macquarie boat captain Rick Rolf said the club had to withdraw a crew after injuries sustained last weekend.
"We'll get on with the job up there, we'll go on the size of the sea and what I think the crews are capable of," he said.
"We have been up there three or four times, normally it's a good open beach. Our masters are fairly experienced, they know how to row and handle the boat.
"We'll be focusing on getting out and around the can safely, hopefully in first place. You've got to make sure everything is right at the start, we don't want to be stopped on the way out.
"Should be a good couple of days and rewarding I hope."
Mr Rolf said that two extra sweeps have joined the club and any potential rowers should contact the club through their website to join a crew.
