The popular running event will be held on March 6-7 and participants are being encouraged to #RunHappy.
The event has grown significantly over the last nine years to become a major regional event with more than 5,000 overnight stays recorded in 2020 event.
Over 75 per cent of Run Fest attendees are from outside the region.
Entries have opened for the 10th instalment of Run Fest Port Macquarie.
Staged over two days, the program has challenges for all age groups, abilities and is a family friendly event.

The race weekend kicks off with the Team Holborow 3km kids fun run.
In partnership with the Indigenous Marathon Foundation, Run Fest also hosts the charity #WalkSweatInspire 3km. This event is also one of the selection trials for Robert de Castella's Indigenous Marathon Project.
The epic challenge, the Treble Breakwall Buster, which consists of running the half marathon, 10km and 5km events, is the highlight. Those who finish the 36.1km course receive four event medals and have their name on the event honour role.
Port Macquarie-Hastings mayor Peta Pinson said it has been a pleasure to sponsor Run Fest over the past six years.
"Running is so popular in our community, and it's been great to see Run Fest grow and evolve into the fun and competitive event it is today, for all ages and abilities to enjoy," Cr Pinson said.
"There is no better event course than along our beautiful coastline, and this year the new Town Green West pathway section will be open, providing an even more spectacular running experience."
Race director Kevin Chilvers said the event has grown significantly to become a major regional event.
"It's family friendly and caters to all ability levels. With such a stunning flat foreshore area it's attractive for locals and tourists to participate. We are looking forward to putting on a safe and fun event in 2021 celebrating our 10 year anniversary," Mr Chilvers said.
"We are seeking local businesses to get involved in our Explore Port Macquarie initiative.
"Through our event website, event manual and social media we'll be promoting the best local businesses and attractions got participants to explore while visitors here in Greater Port Macquarie for the event.
"This is a great opportunity for local business owners to get involved and to promote their businesses and services to over 2,000 participants.
"Our event team is working hard with NSW Health, NSW Police and council to put on a COVID-safe Run Fest in 2021."
