A Wauchope man has avoided a custodial sentence after appearing in court on a range of drug-related matters.

Lori Dove Carson, 35, of Bain Street Wauchope appeared in the Port Macquarie Local Court on Thursday October 29.
He appeared before magistrate Georgina Darcy.
The Wauchope resident pleaded guilty to, two counts of having goods in custody suspected of being stolen, six counts of possession of a prohibited drug, two counts of having an offensive implement in a public place, two counts of supplying a prohibited drug, possession of a prohibited weapon, two counts of driving a vehicle with illicit drugs in blood system, possess instructions to manufacture a prohibited drug.
The charges relate to incidents on January 7, 2020, January 18, 2020, May 6, 2020, May 11, 2020 and August 13, 2020.
Police facts presented to the court indicate that Carson was spotted by police on Church Street, Port Macquarie. After a short chase, police said they found Carson with a laptop bag across his shoulder.
Carson admitted to police that he had "less than four ounces of cannabis on me".
Police located $5200 in cash in a front jumper pocket along with a small clear resealable bag containing crushed tablets/powder.
Carson told police the MDMA was for "personal use". The drug was weighed to be 2.52 grams of MDMA.
He was also carrying 90 grams of cannabis leaf.
Police also located a baseball bat wrapped in a jump which Carson said was "for protection when I've got drugs on me so I don't get rolled".
During an agreed strip search, 30 grams of methylamphetamine was also located on Carson.
Police later executed a search warrant of Carson's Wauchope address and located a further $500, 8 grams of cannabis, a timber baton, sets of scales and a large amount of resealable bags.
Magistrate Darcy convicted Carson, placing him on an intensive corrections order to serve in the community for 14 months, perform 100 hours community service work, an aggregate community corrections order for 12 months, fined him a total of $2800, disqualified from driving for six months and ordered him to abstain from drug use.
