New murals are being added to Dark Alley Collectibles, Mean Streak Choppers and Vibe Cafe during the artist and creative showcase of events for the first week of October.
Port Macquarie artist Damon Moroney, who has finished murals across both towns, said he has been working on the Choppers mural satellite event for around four hours on October 7.
"The mural is part of ArtWalk because we couldn't do the live event in town this year. I've got a grant to do three murals," he said.
"I'm fitting the art to the space and there have been tons of people following the ArtWalk to have a look.
"This kind of engagement brings business and tourists to the town. It's good to get some new colour and creative vibe to Wauchope.
"ArtWalk is a bit different this year because it is spread out due to social distancing. It gives people more of a chance to get around to see all the artists. I've gone for a look at what's around as well."
Mean Streak Choppers and Seven owner Nardia Paulson said ArtWalk 2020 has surprised her with the volume of tourists and the inclusion of Wauchope this year.
"I think murals are a really good opportunity for Wauchope to be known as a creative space. It was great to see Wauchope included in ArtWalk this year," Mrs Paulson said.
"We have some incredible artisans within the community and I think we are seeing more creative stores opening in town. The whole main street has put in a lot of effort for ArtWalk this year.
"It's bringing people to town but also benefiting artists as well. We have so many different spaces that can be used and it's bringing people into the outdoors.
"We have had heaps of people following ArtWalk, we even opened on Sunday despite it usually being a day off."
