Wendy's love of colour is on display in her Dunbogan front yard garden filled with flowers and a range of other plants.
"Colour makes me happy," she said.
"I mosaic and tile pots, and fiddle around with paint."
Wendy says while she likes every bright colour, yellow is like the sun.
People stop to take photos and others comment about the garden.
A frangipani tree originally caught Wendy's eye and she says that tree is the reason she bought the house near the Camden Haven River 11 years ago.

Five other frangipani trees grew from cuttings as did succulents planted in brightly coloured pots.
Features in the Dunbogan garden have background stories including the kentia palms brought back from Lord Howe Island as seedings.
"Everything here is through my life journey," Wendy said.
Wendy doesn't describe herself as a gardener but her garden brings great enjoyment.
"Getting your hands in the dirt is good for your soul and flowers are good for your heart," she said.
"It just makes me so happy. You can make a flower garden wherever you are."
The front yard also features a small vegetable garden.
Wendy is able to devote more time to the garden after retiring from her job in remote Aboriginal communities.
