The first open night will be on September 25 from 7.45pm.
The observatory has updated the entrance and redesigned the auditorium to accommodate a maximum of 20 guests.
President Robert Bragwin the observatory aims to provide a great night exploring the stars in a safe environment for members and guests.
"Weather permitting this Friday, the evening will include a look at an astronomical object through the observatory's 14" Schmidt Cassegrain reflector telescope," Mr Bragwin said.
"An entertaining presentation will cover various astronomical topics or take you for a tour of the night sky and our place in the universe with spectacular images of astronomical objects."
Entry is by booking only. Tickets are not available at the door.
