Layni Fens added a third goal in the second stanza as the Coast finished the match full of running in a 3-0 victory.
Coach Mick Grass said his team showed plenty of character on the road after the two teams were locked at 0-all at the break.
"The standard of football wasn't always fantastic and the game was a bit scrappy, but the girls were in there fighting for each other,'' Grass said.
"That's what got us home.''
This now gives Coast eight goals in two matches while this was the side's second successive win.
Grass said the longer the game went the better his team played.
"We probably should have scored another one or two goals. We created enough chances,'' he said.
"She pulled off some tremendous saves and her distribution was fantastic,'' Grass said.
Striker Courtney Anderson rolled her ankle in the first half.
While she saw out the game, she is in some doubt for Sunday's crucial game against the second placed Merewether United at Wayne Richards Park at Port Macquarie.
"Court won't be training this week but fingers crossed she'll be okay by the weekend,'' Grass said.
